Maida pledges to boost NCC’s efficiency through digitalization of processes
The Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications (NCC), Dr. Aminu Maida has pledged to boost efficiency of the Commission through digitalisation of its processes, and that decisions of the commission must be data-driven.
He stated this during his Kano State Zonal Office of the Commission in continuation of his familiarisation tour across Zonal Offices of the Commission.
He said his drivers for the Commission remain investing in the people assets of the Commission, collaboration, and to ramp up compliance activities of the Commission
Maida interacted with the leadership and staff of the NCC in the Zonal Office where they shared their updates on their activities, engagements and challenges with him.

He also noted that the Commission would strategically focus on serving the needs and expectations of its three core stakeholders which are: the Industry/Licensees, the Government and importantly the Consumers.
Maida also toured the NCC Emergency Communication Centre (ECC) located in the State. The Emergency Communications Centre, which operates 24/7 provides essential emergency response services to the public. Like Kano, the ECCs are present in 31 other states.
The Kano Zonal Office covers the States in the North West and North East geopolitical zones of the country.
