Napoli’s Osimhen nears €80M transfer to Al-Ahli: Key details revealed
Napoli’s star striker, Victor Osimhen, is reportedly close to finalizing a move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli in a deal worth €80 million, including add-ons.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Nigerian forward is expected to sign a four-year contract, earning a staggering €40 million per season.
Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed that Osimhen’s agent is in the final stages of negotiating the deal. The agreement marks a significant shift for the 25-year-old, who was Serie A’s top scorer in the 2022-23 season and had previously expressed a desire to stay in Europe.

Osimhen was linked with European giants Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, but negotiations with Chelsea failed to meet the financial expectations of both Napoli and the player. As a result, Osimhen is now set to continue his career in the Saudi Pro League.
Fabrizio Romano, another well-known football transfer insider, confirmed the deal, stating that the total package for the transfer is around €75-80 million. Osimhen’s new contract with Al-Ahli will also include a release clause, and the club has already arranged a medical for the player.
This transfer comes as a surprise, given Osimhen’s earlier indications of wanting to remain in Europe, but the lucrative offer from Al-Ahli appears to have been too tempting to refuse.
