Sani emphasized that as of Wednesday, November 13, 2024, the Council had successfully fulfilled all financial obligations to its examiners in line with its payment schedule.
He also clarified that any delays experienced by some examiners were due to incorrect bank details submitted by them, but these issues have now been resolved through direct communication with the affected individuals.
Furthermore, Sani addressed recent rumors circulating on social media, which falsely claimed that NECO had intentionally withheld payments from examiners.
He assured the public that the allegations were untrue, as the payments had been completed without delay.
NECO also acknowledged the importance of the contributions made by its examiners and other ad-hoc staff, reaffirming its commitment to honoring their remuneration.
Sani advised that individuals with concerns or questions about NECO’s processes should contact the Council directly for clarification, rather than relying on unverified information from external sources.
