Ooni of Ife tongue-lashes politicians, security operatives
“How many of you here can raise their hands and say they can stay at their constituencies in peace for one week” asked the Ooni of Ife as he addressed issues bothering on the high level of insecurity ravaging the nation.
The Ooni Of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi was seen in a new video addressing the rapid rise of insecurity in the country.
Speaking at an event which the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, Speaker of House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, heads of security agencies and other politicians attended, the monarch dared them to raise their hands if they can stay in their constituencies in a peace for a week.
The monarch who queried the lawmakers on the laws they are administering, stated that Abuja and Lagos are not the only states in the country.
Ooni also asked what the essence of one becoming a politician is, if they can’t move about freely.
