Osun Utd to face Afe Babalola in a friendly match

Osun United Football Club will face Aare Afe Babalola Football Club in a friendly match, on Friday February 17, 2017 at the Kayode Oluyemi Stadium, Ado Ekiti.

National Daily gathered that the friendly will be played by today and is being arranged by Phoenix Athletic Sports Limited as part of activities of Phoenix Ekiti State Secondary Schools Cup Finals.

The final of the maiden edition of the tourney will be decided Friday evening at the Kayode Oluyemi Stadium, with Emure Model High School battling United High School, Ilawe Ekiti.

Osun United and Afe Babalola FC will use the friendly to prepare for the 2017 Nigeria National League scheduled to kick off early next month.

“We need top games for the team to be in top shape for the tie. We are leaving no stone unturned in our bid to ensure we have a compact team before the new season, ” Duke Udi, Osun United coach said.
