Over 300 journalists for Asaba 2018
Over 300 journalists from different parts of the world have applied for accreditation to cover the 21st African Senior Athletics Championships holding at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba from August 1 to 5,National Daily learnt.
Sports journalists from countries like Slovenia, Austria, Canada, England, Ireland and several African countries like Senegal, South Africa, Cote d Ivore, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Togo, Benin, and several other countries applied for accreditation to cover the Championships in Asaba.
Journalists from African countries whose federation president or secretary will be participating in the Delegates Registration Meeting (DRM) will collect their media accreditation tags from the federation officials who will collect it on their behalf.
The accreditation tag will serve as their visa at the point of entry.
Nigerian sports journalists whose application for accreditation is approved will get a confirmation from the Media and Publicity sub-committee of the LOC.
