Portable sets to go on American tour

Minneapolis is buzzing with excitement as popular street pop sensation Portable announces his first American tour, scheduled to kick off on September 8, 2023. The singer took to his Instagram to share a flier containing all the details of his tour, which is set to start in New York City in September and wrap up on March 23, 2024.

Portable’s tour will take him to ten states across the United States, including New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Seattle, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, and of course, Minneapolis. Ever since his breakthrough in 2021 with his hit song ‘Zazu’ featuring Olamide and Poco Lee, Portable has been steadily gaining popularity and has become a favorite among fans.

Expressing his excitement for the upcoming tour, Portable shared a caption on his Instagram post that read, “I’m born to be a superstar I dey wonder why them dey para Star. However, Portable has faced some controversy recently. He was stripped of his two nominations for the highly anticipated Headies Awards in 2022 due to his threatening behavior towards other nominees. His nominations were for the Rookie of the Year and Best Street Hop award for his single ‘Zazu’. Additionally, he was also stripped of his nominations for breaking the award show’s code of conduct by assaulting DJ Chicken.

Despite these setbacks, Portable remains determined to continue his climb to success. His American tour is a testament to his resilience and dedication to his craft.
