Reactions as Aisha Yesufu said she will screenshot what Peter Obi said about Nigerians in diaspora
The popular female human rights activist and public speaker, Aisha Yesufu had just taken to her verified Twitter page to react to a statement made by Labout party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in Germany.
On her page, she said “Let me screenshot this to remind Peter Obi when he gets into the office by the grace of God. My job is to make demands and hold him accountable when he gets into the office!
Barely 24 hours after Peter Obi meet with some Nigerian political leaders in London, it had been reported that he is now in Germany. Also, while in Germany, Peter Obi got an invitation to an event organized by Nigerians in that country. While giving his speech, Peter Obi tentatively said ” We will continue to engage the Nigerian Diaspora in ways that are mutually beneficial. By 2027 election, Nigerian Diaspora must have a voice via absentee ballots.”
Aisha Yesufu said she would hold on to that word and if Peter Obi eventually got the presidential seat and she will keep reminding him (Peter Obi) of all the promises he made now that he is campaigning.
Many people agreed with what Aisha Yesufu said and as such her tweet has generated several reactions online, see what a few of them said;
