Reason why Chelsea star, Marcos Alonso stopped kneeling before games

“It’s how I do things,” Alonso explained. “I believe there is another option. And I believe it is losing some strength in the opposite direction. So I’d rather do it this way to indicate that I totally support the battle against racism.”

“I am completely opposed to racism and all forms of prejudice,” he continued. Alonso also stated that he hasn’t spoken with his teammates about his new position since he doesn’t believe it is necessary.
