Sanwo-Olu, Enilolobo must drop one ticket for Alimosho 01 APC G-18 group – Members insist
…. as APC members storm state secretariat demand review of consensus candidate
All Progressives Congress, APC members in Alimosho Federal Constituency in Lagos State, troop to the party’s state secretariat on Thursday 2 June to protest consensus flag bearer choices made by the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu and leaders of the party.
APC members in Alimosho Constituency 01 belonging to the Alimosho APC G-18 faction protested the consensus arrangement that denied them any slot in the two made available to the faction.
“Alhaji Abdullahi Enilolobo domiciled the two slots given to our faction in his home constituency 02, he picked his personal associates Hon Kehinde Joseph and Hon Ganiyu Adele Ayuba for the House of Assembly and House of Representatives respectively. Messer’s Joseph and Ayuba are Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola sanctioned aspirants.

“The proper thing is to give one of the two tickets to Alimosho Constituency 01 G-18 group and the other to Alimosho Constituency 02 G-18 group: retaining both tickets in Alimosho Constituency 02 does not fly in the face of fairness, equity and justice.
“Alimosho APC G-18 in Constituency 01 have seven out of the eleven wards and four out of the six councils in the federal constituency. We are the defining majority in elections. We deserve one out of the two tickets available to our faction.
“Enilolobo as the leaders of Alimosho APC G-18 connived with others to forgo Alimosho Constituency 01 House of Assembly ticket to the Alimosho APC Veterans Liberation Movement Coalition, this is acceptable, but to retain the two slots given to our faction in his home constituency 02 is unacceptable and fails leadership test” Pastor Femi Olashehinde.
