See the worst decision by VAR in Bournemouth vs Arsenal game
In their Premier League match against Bournemouth on Saturday night, Arsenal clinched an easy victory.
Arsenal put on a fantastic team performance, and Mikel Arteta would be thrilled with the result of the match. Arsenal got the game off to a strong start by controlling possession and generating quality chances in the first few minutes.
In the fourth minute, Odegaard’s superb close-range goal gave Arsenal a well-deserved lead. Just before the half-hour mark, the outstanding midfielder added another goal to give Arsenal the lead.
With a thunderous close-range shot early in the second half, Saliba extended Arsenal’s lead.
Despite having a 3-0 lead, Arsenal doesn’t appear to be letting up as they continue to press Bournemouth’s defense. In the 70th minute, Gabriel Jesus scored with a skillful finish, but the video assistant referee disallowed the goal for an offside.
VAR’s decision to call off Gabriel’s goal was inarguably the worst decision in the game. After watching the replay of the incident, it remains unclear why the Video Assistant Referee disallowed the goal.
