Some soldiers who are believed to be assigned to the Ojo Cantonment Barracks have reportedly stabbed a police officer named Saka Ganiyu, resulting in his tragic death. This incident occurred after Officer Ganiyu confronted one of the soldiers for driving against the flow of traffic near the Volks Bus Stop, which is located along the Ojo Iyana Iba Road in Lagos State.
According to various reports on the situation, the soldier who was stopped was not in uniform at the time of the incident. He was driving a T4 Volkswagen commercial bus, which did not have any official registration number, when the police officers were on duty at the Volks Bus Stop and noticed him violating traffic rules.
