Soludo congratulates Okoye on Senate confirmation as MD of SEDC
The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has warmly congratulated Mr. Mark Okoye on his confirmation by the Nigerian Senate as the pioneer Managing Director of the South East Development Commission (SEDC).
The confirmation followed a rigorous screening process, underscoring Mr. Okoye’s exceptional qualifications for the role.
In his congratulatory message, Governor Soludo emphasized that Mr. Okoye’s appointment, after being nominated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, is a testament to his outstanding leadership skills and unwavering commitment to public service.
Soludo highlighted that these qualities were vividly demonstrated during Mr. Okoye’s tenure as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA) and his prior role as Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning in the state.
Governor Soludo expressed confidence that Mr. Okoye’s extensive experience in investment banking and public service would prove invaluable in his new capacity, contributing to the overall growth and development of the Southeast region.
