Tinubu begins campaign with cycling show in UK, returns to Nigeria Tuesday for inauguration of APC Campaign Council
The presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, may have begun his campaign for the 2023 presidential election, with a bicycle show in a gym in London, the United Kingdom (UK). The APC candidate released a video where he was on a gym bicycle in response to wide concerns over his health status following his sudden departure from the country unannounced with participating in the signing of the peace accord by presidential candidates, as well as stalling the inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) earlier scheduled for September 28.
Tinubu had responded to the initial campaign pressure, when he posted on his official twitter handle: Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT “Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well… Nope. “This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.” #BAT23
Meanwhile, there were insinuations that the APC presidential candidate may return to Nigeria on Tuesday for the inauguration of the party’s presidential campaign council.
Meanwhile, Tinubu is yet to unfold his campaign manifesto for public assessment.
