Transfer: Arsenal bids, Lukaku hints
Arsenal have made a £72m bid for Lille star Nicolas Pepe, according to reports in France. The forward’s agent has said his player is attracted by a move to the Premier League. And Pepe’s wish might soon be granted as Telefoot report that Arsenal have engaged in talks with Lille over a £72m swoop for their star. Arsenal have confirmed that goalkeeper Dejan Iliev has joined Slovak Super Liga side SKF Sered on loan until the end of the season, reports Football London.
In other news, Romelu Lukaku has hinted he may leave Manchester United next week. Inter Milan chiefs met with their Old Trafford counterparts on Thursday to discuss a potential £75million move for the Belgian striker. Lukaku fuelled speculations as he gave a cryptic message on his future following United’s 2-0 win over Perth Glory.
He said: “You will know something next week,” as he walked past reporters in Australia.
