As the stage is gradually being set for the 2023 presidential election, many of the aspirants for various offices have begun to charge their teeming supporters to get prepared for the election. This is because these aspirants are aware that only the electorates can guarantee them victory at the polls with their votes.

In a recent post on his verified Twitter page, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2023 presidential aspirant, Peter Obi, charged Nigerians to go and register for their Permanent Voter’s Card, popularly known as PVC.

It should be recalled that for a while now, many Nigerians, particularly the youths in the southern region of the country, have continued to demand that Obi, a former Governor of Anambra State, be nominated as the PDP presidential candidate for the 2023 election.

Peter Obi, who was the Vice Presidential candidate of the party in 2019, is believed by many political analysts to be unlikely to emerge as the winner of the PDP’s forthcoming election due to stiff competition from other top contenders like Atiku Abubakar, Bukola Saraki, Nyesom Wike, and Aminu Tambuwal.

The likelihood that Obi would win the primaries has continued to be debated by many Nigerians. However, that has not stopped his support base from increasing on a daily basis. Following his recent tweet charging Nigerians to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration to get their PVC, many Nigerians have continued to take turns reacting to it.

According to a tweep who goes by the name, Amazon Growth Squad, she stated that she would complete her registration today, and it is all because of Peter Obi. While another tweep, Ozioma Emmanuella, maintained that it would be an abomination for her to be watching television on election day when Obi is on the ballot papers.
