Wike gives stern warning to those distorting Abuja master plan
The newly sworn-in Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has given a stern warning to those who are distorting the Abuja Master Plan.
Wike, who was speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, said that he will not tolerate any further tampering with the master plan.
“I am giving a stern warning to those who are distorting the Abuja Master Plan,” Wike said. “Stop or face the consequences.”
Wike said that he has already set up a committee to review the master plan and that he will soon be taking action against those who have violated it.
“I will not allow anyone to destroy the beauty of Abuja,” Wike said. “I will restore the master plan to its original state.”
The Abuja Master Plan is a blueprint for the development of the Federal Capital Territory. It was designed to create a modern and planned city that would be a showcase for Nigeria.

However, the master plan has been distorted in recent years, with unauthorized buildings and developments springing up all over the city.
Wike’s warning is a sign that he is serious about restoring the master plan and ensuring that Abuja remains a planned city.
The news of Wike’s warning has been welcomed by many residents of Abuja, who are tired of seeing the city being destroyed by unauthorized developments.
“We are happy that the new minister is taking action against those who are distorting the master plan,” said one resident. “We hope that he will be able to restore Abuja to its former glory.”
Wike’s warning is also a sign that he is willing to take on the powerful interests that have been profiting from the distortion of the master plan.
It remains to be seen whether Wike will be able to restore the master plan, but his warning is a positive step in the right direction.
