2023: Reactions as Isaac Fayose claims Atiku won’t get up to 500k votes in the South West
Reactions have begun trailing a most recent claim made by Prince Isaac Fayose regarding the presidential ambition of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flag bearer, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
An hour ago, Prince Isaac, who happens to be a brother to PDP Chieftain and erstwhile Ekiti State Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Peter Fayose, took to his Facebook page to give his prediction on Atiku’s chances of securing crucial votes in the Southwestern region of the country at the 2023 presidential election.
According to him, the Waziri of Adamawa will lose out in Yorubaland because he will not secure up to half-a-million votes in the entire 6 states that make up the Southwest region.
“Atiku will not get 500,000 votes in the whole southwest. Olule finally,” he wrote.
As expected, Isaac Fayose’s claim led to an argument among his followers who trooped to the comment section of his page to express their opinions.
While some persons concurred with him on his prediction, others, however, insisted that Atiku is too formidable an opponent to write off in the Southwest.
Check out some of the reactions below:
With the 2023 general elections around the corner, Atiku Abubakar is considered to be a front runner in the race for the presidency. He will be squaring up with All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Labour Party aspirant, Peter Obi.
