Happening soon: Dzeko’s Inter move
Inter Milan are entering a crucial phase in their attempts to sign Roma forward Edin Dzeko, according to the Corriere dello Sport.
Club CEO Beppe Marotta is set to meet with Roma representatives in the next 48 hours to try and thrash out a deal, with Roma wanting at least €18 million (£16.2m/$20.1m) for the 33-year-old.
Dzeko, who represents a budget alternative to Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku, has scored 87 goals in 179 games during his four-year spell in Rome.
In other news, Gibbs-White to snub Bayern for Wolves stay. Wolves starlet Morgan Gibbs-White is set to snub interest from Bayern Munich and sign a new contract at Molineux, report 90min.
The 19-year-old midfielder looked comfortable during his first season as a Premier League footballer and had been attracting interest from a number of top clubs.
But Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad have a busy season ahead with Europa League football looking likely to be confirmed, and they have no desire to lose one of their star assets
