ANAMBRA: How Primate Elijah’s prophecy flopped
INEC has declared APGA’s candidate Charles Soludo winner of the November guber race which he won with a landlside, disappointing not just the APC, the PDP, and other parties, but also followers of Primate Elijah Ayodele.
The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church lik s to dole out prophecy about most national issues, including politics, oil spillage, and daily stock market rallies and retracements.
His prophecy on the Anambra election however fell flat.
Primate Elijah had given the victory to the PDP earlier, condemning the APC as a rigger, and describing APGA’s Gov. Willie Obiano and his party as unpopular.
“People are tired of APGA, they don’t want APGA but the party wants to enforce power through rigging, they are not getting it right,” he said in a statement on October 12.
“Nobody is ready for APGA and APC in Anambra but both of them are bent on taking it by force.
“The people don’t want APC and APGA. If PDP can utilize the opportunity, they can win.”
But according to the election results, APGA won 19 out of 21 LGAs, and scored the mandatory 25 percent in the 21 LGAs.
Soludo polled a total of 112,229 votes, while the candidate Elijah stuck out for, Valentine Ozigbo of the PDP, scored 53, 807.
The APC couldn’t rig either. Even an APGA chieftain is full of praises for President Muhammadu commitment to a free and fair election in Anambra.
