Do you wonder how hackers can gain access to your bank details and withdraw your money? Don’t crack your brain about this. Hackers are 10 times trickier and smarter than you do. They have fashioned out some tricky ways by which they snatch people’s sensitive information most especially their bank details online. It is always painful whenever I see people being duped by fraudsters. Are you the type that do apply for loan or grant online or you are the type that don’t care sharing your sensitive information online? Please lend me your ears. This article is centered on you.
However, base on what I have experienced regarding this matter, I am going to show you 2 major tricks hackers use to extract your bank details online.
1. Hackers extract your bank details through fake loan or grant forms they create online.
Hackers go online to create loan or grant forms in indifferent patterns depending on how they want these forms to look like. Sometimes, they put the logos of reputable financial institutions on these forms so that people will not suspect them. Also, In the content of these fake forms, are the columns to supply your personal details ranging from your full name, address, phone number, Bank Verification Number and your bank account where you are going to receive your loan or grant. Please beware of this kind of trick. It is put together by scammers to steal your bank information.
2. Hackers extract your bank details from unsecured websites.
Hackers have their own specially created websites which they used to steal peoples’ bank information. Before you give out your personal information online, please check if the website is secured. This is how a secure website address looks like “https//www” while an unsecured website address also looks like this “http//www“. If you take a critical look at the two, you will notice that the only major difference between the two website addresses is security which the letter S in the first website address stands for. So, once you notice that a site is not secured, please don’t do anything stupid. Don’t enter your sensitive information on this kind of website otherwise your bank information will be stolen and your money will be looted by hackers. The image below further buttresses my point.
