Presidency 2023: Osinbajo may not have a chance – Ogunlewe
A stakeholder in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adeseye Ogunlewe, former Minister of Works during the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) government, ion Friday declared that vice President Yemi Osinbajo may not have a chance in the 2023 presidential race. Ogunlewe speaking on ARISE Television Morning Show on Friday monitored by National Daily from Lagos, said that Osinbajo is free to contest, but boasted that the vice president may not have a chance because they are on ground for the presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Ogunlewe said that Tinubu has been consulting widely with traditional rulers who could tell their subjects what their stake in the Tinubu project is and urge them to vote Tinubu. Ogunlewe was confident that the Tinubu mobilization team have perfected their strategies and do not plan for failures but success.
The former minister insisted that there is no chance for Osinbajo as Tinubu and his supporters are not planning to fail.
Meanwhile, Osinbajo has been consulting with varieties of Nigerian stakeholders, as well as garnering momentum with official duties as vice president of the country.
Tinubu and Osinbajo are both from southwest Nigeria.
