Convention: Sen. Wamakko extols Buhari’s leadership guidance.

Sen. Aliyu Wamakko (APC-Sokoto North) has extolled the leadership direction and guidance of President Muhammadu Buhari, noting that it led to the huge success of Saturday’s APC National Convention.

”The President facilitated the consensus arrangement that produced the new crop of leaders of the APC and further consolidated the unity of the APC,” a statement from his Media Aide, Malam Hassan Sanyinnawal, said on Monday in Abuja.

Sanyinnawal also quoted the former governor of Sokoto State as congratulating the erstwhile Nasarawa State governor, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, on his emergence as the National Chairman of APC.

Wamakko, who represents Sokoto North Senatorial District, also felicitated with the other national and zonal officers of the party who were elected at the convention.
