Presidency 2023: Atiku promises to implement Persons with Disabilities, Prohibition Act
A presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has promised to ensure the implementation of the Persons with Disabilities and Prohibition Act. Atiku receiving a delegation of Persons with Disabilities in Nigeria in Abuja, in continuation of his consultations with relevant stakeholders in the country, emphasized only the PDP can guarantee the full implementation of Persons with Disabilities and Prohibition Act in Nigeria.
Atiku maintained told the delegation of Persons with Disabilities that PDP has taken deliberate steps to include persons with Disabilities in the mainstream of governance when the party gets to power in 2023.
The persons with Disabilities were in Abuja on the invitation of Atiku. They acknowledged that “the invitation is a true reflection of the desires of the leading PDP aspirant to work for all Nigerians if given the mandate to preside over Nigeria’s affairs.”
They commended Atiku for his contributions to empowering persons with Disabilities in Nigeria.
