APC chairman shot dead by gunmen
Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Atakunmosa East, Osun State, Gbenga Ogbara, has been declared killed by gunmen in the state.
The LG chairman was said to be shot at midnight in his living room and he died instantly. The victim’s wife and son were said to have sustained gunshot injuries in the attack and are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
The corps of the victim was said to be deposited at the Westley Guild Hospital, Ilesa, Osun State.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the Osun State Command, Yemisi Opalola, had acknowledged the killing, disclosing that security personnel have been deployed to the area.
