Again, Kwakanso loses NNPP members back to APC
After some ‘five minutes’ in the spotlight, Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and his NNPP in Kano are witnessing a retracement of the initial spike in their political stock.
Among about a dozen, especially in state assembly, that cross-carpeted weeks ago, some have dumped the party leader and presidential aspirant, and are returning to the APC.
Hon. Kabiru Yusuf Ismail has returned to the APC. Likewise Hon. Muazaam El-Yakubu.
According to Commissioner for Information, Muhammad Garba, the NNPC has again been hit by defection.
He added member of the State legislature, representing Bagwai/Shanono, Isa Alialso rejoined the APC days after decamping to the NNPP.
The Assembly member, representing Dambatta State constituency, Hon. Murtala Kore also renounced his membership of the NNPP to remain in the APC.
While leaving for the NNPP, many of the defectors said they were robbed of their opportunity to clinch the APC tickets.
