London to Lagos Charity Rider: Eagle will be going on auction in Lagos with starting bid of $25,000 – Kunle
Popular London To Lagos charity rider, Kunle Adeyanju has revealed what would happen to his motorbike (Eagle) after he ends his adventure in Lagos in few days time. The Rotarian tweeted that he will auction the Eagle with a starting bid of $25,000 which no doubt is a lot of money when converted into Nigeria’s local currency. The proceeds from the auction will be donated to Rotary Foundation’s fight against Polio.
Kunle who is currently being hosted in Ghana, started his charity adventure in London on April 19th in order to raise N20 million (which he later increased to N100 million) to fight Polio. The Rotarian started attracting attention from social media users as he kept on tweeting about his experiences while embarking on his adventure.
The apogee of Kunle’s charity adventure was when he entered Ivory Coast where he was treated as a celebrity by different personalities and groups. He also set tongues wagging when posted pictures of himself carrying an Ivorian lady, Zenab who has promised to be in Lagos on the 29th of May to witness the end of London To Lagos charity ride.
