5 things you shouldn’t do immediately after eating
Eating is crucially important to one’s physical well-being. What you do shortly after a meal can have a variety of effects on your body. Unintentionally, you commit some post-meal blunders. The activities you shouldn’t do just after eating will be explored fully in this post.
Things You Shouldn’t Do Right After You Eat:
1) Sleeping or lying down quickly after a meal can cause digestion to be disrupted.
2) Bathing:Taking a shower just after a meal can cause digestion to be delayed. After your meal, you can wait 30 minutes before bathing.
3) Staying hydrated with water or tea should always be a top priority. Water can be consumed in between meals, but not soon following a meal. Wait a few minutes before drinking the water.
4) Eating fruits straight after a meal: According to healthline, eating fruit right after a meal can reduce absorption and cause intestinal pain. Fruits are good for you, but you must consume them at the appropriate time before your meal.
5) Cigarettes: studies have shown that smoking one cigarette after a meal has the same effect as smoking ten cigarettes all at once.
