Thomas Tuchel includes Nigerian player as Chelsea releases pre-season squad for USA tour
The Blues are expected to take on three different teams which includes Club America, Charlotte FC and EPL London Rivals, Arsenal in the U.S.
The 29-man Squad for the Tour is a mixture of senior Players and Academy Prodigies. The squad consists of 4 Goalkeepers, 11 Defenders, 7 Midfielders and 7 Forwards.
Chelsea would be without Key Players, N’golo Kante, Ruben Loftus-Cheek due the Players’ health status as a result of Covid-19 Vaccination.
Nigeria-Eligible Striker Tino Anjorin Makes it to the squad. The 20 Years old Plays for the Blues U-23 in Premier League 2.
Chelsea in their First game on the 16th of July 2022 will take on Club America at the Allegiant Stadium before taking on Charlotte FC four days later (July 20th) at the Bank of America Stadium.
Chelsea will Round up their Pre-season tour with a friendly game against EPL London Rivals, Arsenal at the Camping World Stadium in Florida on the 23rd of July.
