Sowore reacts as police suspend 2 female officers who were seen in a viral TikTok video
Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of AAC has said that it would have been a different story if male police officers were on TikTok.
He said this while reacting to the suspension of two female officers whose videos recently went viral on social media. The police officers identified as Obaze Blessing and Obaze Emmanuella Uju went viral some days ago after they shared videos of themselves in police uniforms and sultry wear.
It was said in an announcement by the police public relations officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi that they were suspended for violation of social media policy and another which he described as discreditable conduct.
Reacting to the development, Sowore in a post made on his verified page said that the officers wouldn’t have been touched if they were male officers. He described the suspension of the ladies as an “illegal and oppressive act against the police officers” as he urged the police force to lift their suspension on the ladies.
He said;
“If these were male police officers on TikTok no one would touch them. The police force must rescind their illegal suspension and recall them back with immediate effect.”
