Mixed reactions as flood takes over ex-president Goodluck Jonathan’s mansion (Video)

The video of the mansion of the former Nigerian president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan’s mansion being taken over by flood as sparked up multiple reactions from Nigerians after it surfaced online.

It’s no news that there is currently a rampant flood situation across the country, and this flood has ravaged many communities. Communities in States like Bayelsa, Delta, Anambra. Etc, have been experiencing this flood as it has washed away farms and destroyed a lot of properties.

Multiple casualties have also been recorded since it started.

Tragicaly, motorist passing through affected communities have had to take a detour and go through a longer route to get to their destination as a lot of roads have been taken over by the flood.

The flood has been linked to constant heavy rainfalls, climate change, overflow of local rivers and, most importantly, to the excess water from the Lagdo Dam in Northern Cameroon.

A video of a mansion owned by Nigeria’s former president, Goodluck Jonathan, wallowing in the flood has caused a stir on social media.

The mansion which is located at Otuoke in Bayelsa was submerged in the flood. The video shows that it wasn’t only the former president’s house but the whole community where the mansion is located was submerged in the flood.
