EFCC arraigns Abdulfatai Ahmed over N3bn misappropriation allegation
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Friday arraigned former Governor Abdulfatai Ahmed of Kwara State before a Federal High Court sitting in Ilorin, Kwara State over allegations of misappropriation of funds while in office.
EFCC on the arrest of former Governor Ahmed, four days ago, interrogated him over N3 billion spent in his administration.
National Daily Newspaper gathered that the former governor, after spending four days in EFCC custody, was brought to the court on Friday at about 8.50am for commencement of prosecution.
Immediate past Governor of Kwara State, Abdulfatai Ahmed is being arraigned before a Federal High Court in Ilorin by EFCC over allegations bordering on misappropriation of funds while in office.
