Tinubu meets traditional rulers at State House over August 1 protest

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday held a meeting with traditional rulers across the country at the State House, Abuja, in an intensified effort to avert the August 1 mass protest by Nigerian youths.

The President met with traditional rulers from various parts of Nigeria.

Sighted at the meeting were the Sultan of Sokoto, Oni of Ife, among others.

The Inspector General of Police, the DG of the Department of Security Service (DSS) were also sighted at the meeting. with the royal fathers.

President Tinubu had earlier on Thursday met with APC governors at the State House.
