OSSIEC to inaugurate Electoral Officers on Friday
Electoral Commissioners and Assistant Electoral Commissioners appointed by the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission, OSSIEC, will be inaugurated on Friday, August 16, 2024.
The announcement was made in a statement by the OSSIEC chairman, Hashim Abioye and issued by Omoyemi Badru, Press Secretary to the OSSIEC Chairman on Thursday.
The announcement also revealed that the inauguration will be held at the Commission’s Headquarters in Osogbo at 10 am.
Abioye reiterated, “The step was geared towards putting in place all necessary structures and facilities by the Commission towards having successful elections come Saturday, 22nd February 2025.

“The Commission has requested each political party to submit a soft copy of its registered logo in order to assist the Commission in the task before it.
Participating political parties are enjoined to promptly comply with this request by making available a flash drive containing the registered logos of their respective political parties.”
