The tragic story began when the victim was found to have been tragically murdered, and it was noted that her hair had been shaved, indicating that the act may have been connected to some kind of ritualistic practices. The horrifying discovery of her body was made on December 28, 2025, when it was recovered from a well, highlighting the grim nature of the situation.
According to various reports, Mrs. Amunde returned home quite late on December 24, 2024, after attending a Christmas vigil, a time meant for celebration and joy. However, she had no idea that her life was about to take a devastating turn. After arriving home, she took the precautionary step of locking all the doors, thinking she was securing her home for the night. What she did not know was that her son and his accomplice were already inside the house, hiding in the storeroom, ready to execute their sinister plan. They had conspired together and waited patiently for the moment when they could act, completely unaware to Mrs. Amunde of the danger lurking just within her own home.
