The police command in Adamawa state has taken a business woman named Riyanatu Musa into custody following a serious incident in which she is accused of stabbing a bar worker to death over a dispute involving a small amount of money that amounted to just 200 Naira. This tragic event took place in the Mubi South Local Government Area of the state.

According to reports, Riyanatu got into a heated argument with the bar worker, whose name was Yohanna Musa. The disagreement arose over the 200 Naira that Riyanatu still owed him after her purchase. As she recounted to the police during her confession, Riyanatu had ordered some drinks, including a type of dry gin that is referred to as ‘Big Ben,’ and had initially paid a total of 1,500 Naira. This payment, however, did not cover the entire amount, leaving her with a remaining balance of 200 Naira that she promised to settle the next day.

She has made it clear in her statements, highlighting the fact that she did not have any drinks that day at all. Riyanatu firmly insists that her decisions and actions during the confrontation were in no way affected or influenced by the consumption of alcohol, maintaining that she was sober when the events unfolded.
