Ayra Starr announces 20-date World Tour after historic NFL halftime performance
By Ogundele Eniola
Nigerian Afrobeats star Ayra Starr has announced a 20-date international tour in support of her third studio album, Starrgirl, days after making history with a performance at an NFL International Game in London.
The tour, announced on Monday, will take the singer across Europe and North America in 2027, beginning on January 20 in Cologne, Germany, before moving through cities including Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Zurich, Brussels and London.
The North American leg is scheduled to begin on March 18 in Houston, Texas, with additional performances planned for Atlanta, Brooklyn, Toronto, Chicago and other cities. The tour is expected to conclude on April 14 in San Francisco.
The announcement follows Ayra Starr’s performance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Sunday, where she appeared during the halftime show of the Philadelphia Eagles’ matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
She performed songs including Heaven Baby, Rush and Hot Body, marking another international milestone for the Nigerian singer.

Her latest album, Starrgirl, released on August 14, has also recorded strong early streaming performance. According to Live Nation, the album debuted at number two on Spotify’s Global Top Albums Chart, earning 3.9 million streams on Spotify during its first full day.
The singer’s growing international presence reflects the continued expansion of Afrobeats into major music markets, where Nigerian artists are increasingly securing international performances, collaborations and distribution opportunities.
However, the announced tour schedule does not list African dates. Live Nation said Ayra Starr would return to Africa before beginning the 2027 tour, with further details to be announced.
Tickets for the general public are scheduled to go on sale on October 16, while selected presales began on October 13.
The tour represents another opportunity for the singer to convert her growing international audience into ticket sales and strengthen her position in the global live-music market.
