Elder punches brother to death in Ebonyi
A young man who disobeyed his mother has been beaten to death in Ebonyi state by the elder brother.
National Daily learnt that the incident took place at Ubia Amaetiti in Amoso Edda, Afikpo South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
It was gathered that the mother, Mary, had sent Onu on an errand but he disobeyed necessitating the intervention of his elder David.
It was learnt that his intervention was taken as an affront, leading to an argument before Orji punched him to death afterwards.
A source explained that on July, 28, Onu was sent by the mother to assist her get something in the neighbourhood but he refused to go.
It was further gathered that when the elder brother returned home and was told that the younger brother disobeyed the mother, he got angry and beat the boy, inflicting injuries into him which subsequently culminated to his death.
After the brutalisation, the boy was hospitalised but died the following day as a result of injuries suffered from the beating.
