Business activities return to Daura Saturday Morning
The postponement of the Saturday elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) though was received with mixed reactions, but the entire country was calm while normal businesses and social activities resumed across the country. In Lagos, the home state of the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, people made no delay in setting out for their routine business activities taking advantage of the early announcement which was made while some were still on bed and many other setting up to go out for the elections before the shift.
The timely announcement facilitated people’s adjustment of their activities` for the day.
Apparently, normal business activities resumed Saturday morning in Daura, Katsina State, home of President Muhammadu Buhari. Residents resorted to setting out for their private businesses after the announcement of the postponement of the Presidential and National Assembly elections by INEC.
Daura is the country home of President Muhammadu Buhari who arrived the town in Thursday to exercise his civic responsibility at Kofar Baru 003 polling unit in Sarkin Yara ward.
National Daily gathered that the town became bubbling on Saturday as the people resumed normal business activities after INEC announced the postponement of the elections which were rescheduled.
