Both Manchester United and Arsenal have been attracted by Brighton and Hove Albion midfield hero Moises Caicedo as the Ecuadorian has enjoyed a superb start to the season to help the Seagulls amazingly climb to fourth in the Premier League.

Though, many may now wonder if the Amex Stadium club will be able to sustain their fantastic start so far especially after losing the services of their outstanding manager to Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Chelsea fans have been left in an ecstatic mood after the highly-rated midfielder that has been touted by both the Red Devils and the Gunners is now dreaming of his reunion with his former manager Graham Potter at Stamford Bridge.

The 20-year-old who loved playing under Potter has not hidden his admiration for the English football tactician as he reveals that he was ‘very sad’ when he left Brighton, even though he acknowledges that a move to Stamford Bridge is a ‘great opportunity’.

National Daily can confirm that the Santo Domingo-born midfielder has even suggested he could link back up with Potter at Chelsea, admitting it would be a ‘dream’ to play for the Blues.

‘Right now I’m very focused on Brighton and the World Cup. I want to have a great World Cup and then we’ll see what happens,’ he told Argentine outlet Olé

‘I think they [Chelsea] are one of the best teams in the world and nobody would turn down an offer from Chelsea or any other club like that. It’d be a dream to be in the best teams in the world and succeed there.’

On Potter’s departure from Brighton, Caicedo added: ‘It made me very sad now that he left for Chelsea, because he helped me a lot and I wanted to continue having him as a manager, but that’s football.

‘You never know: today you can be here and tomorrow somewhere else, that’s the job of a footballer and a coach.

‘At Brighton he worked very well and people love him very much. I’m very happy for him and for the great opportunity that was presented to him.’
