There are protests currently ongoing around Abule-egba and Alakuko axis of Lagos as commercial bus drivers are protesting the increase in daily fees being collected by Agberos to 13,000 naira.
The bus drivers who blocked traffic on the Lagos – Abeokuta expressway this morning claimed that the government of Babjide Sanw-olu should come to their aid as most of them are being attacked and beaten by the Agbero touts for being unable to pay the daily levy of 13k, but few minutes ago the police came in to disperse the protesters by firing teargas and shooting.
