Covid-19 has humbled US, says Boris Johnson
- Echoing T B Joshua’s 2020 prophecy on year of humility
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced a second stay-at-home lockdown across England, stating the nation has no choice but to be “humble” in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.
Johnson’s words echo the prophecy given by Prophet TB Joshua on the eve of 2020 where he declared it “the year of humility” and stressed that God would “humble us with our challenges”.
“This year will be a year of HUMILITY. This year, the Lord will humble us with our challenges. Challenges can be affliction.… Let us move closer to God,” he stated on December 28th 2019 after an extensive time of prayer at an undisclosed ‘prayer mountain’.
Nine years earlier on October 16th 2011, Joshua prophesied about a looming crisis that would bring every nation “on their knees.”
“Everyone will be humbled,” he revealed. “There is something God wants to achieve concerning this – God wants to achieve humility to the core. He wants everyone to be on their knees, every nation to be on their knees. After that, the solution will come.”
Boris Johnson’s acknowledgement that the coronavirus has brought humility – In line with Joshua’s prophecy – is an assertion that has equally been echoed in recent months by prominent figures such as Dr Robert Redfield, Director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, USA Chief Justice John Roberts and Dr Tedros Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organisation (WHO).
“If this virus is teaching us anything, it’s humility. Time for humility,” Ghebreyesus said whilst addressing the World Health Assembly.
Johnson’s announcement comes as Britain has passed the grim milestone of over one million infections within the nation.
Remarkably, another of Joshua’s prophecies continues to make headlines in his own nation of Nigeria.
In a message filled with prophetic foresight in July 2013, the cleric spoke of impending largescale protests championed by disenchanted young people, equally providing the solution for the government to act on in order to quell an impending ‘revolution’ that would emerge from the protests.
“God has given us a way out. The way out is job creation for the youth and the creation of a new social value system,” he stated, particularly called on Nigerian politicians to actively engage young people in the political sphere, thus “training them to take over tomorrow”.
After the outbreak of the #EndSARS protests, Lagos State Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu is the latest politician to take actions in line with Joshua’s revelation to provide employment for young people.
According to an official statement, Lagos State has agreed “to engage 4,000 unemployed graduates on an internship programme” and provide them with a monthly salary of N40,000.
This comes on the heels of similar actions to provide youth employment by the Governors in Cross River, Akwa-Ibom and Rivers State.
