FG approves NYSC mobilisation for full-time HND graduates
The Federal Government has officially approved the mobilisation of full-time Higher National Diploma (HND) graduates for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, made this announcement in a statement released in Abuja on Thursday by the ministry’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Folasade Boriowo.
According to Alausa, following discussions with the NYSC Director-General, only those who completed their HND through full-time study are eligible for mobilisation. He described this as a significant breakthrough, addressing the long-standing exclusion of HND graduates from the NYSC scheme.
The move, he added, reflects the government’s commitment to fairness and inclusivity in the education sector.

Alausa reiterated that only full-time HND graduates can participate in the NYSC program there are no exceptions for those who completed their studies part-time
