Habits that prevent pregnancy you shouldn’t ignore
It is the dream of most couples to have children as part of their relationship however this desire is not actualized in some cases. The inability to conceive a child for more than 1 year of frequent unprotected intercourse is called infertility. Infertility may be caused by factors from one of the partners or combination of factors from both partners
It is necessary to go for medical tests and seek for treatments to solve this issue. However, you should also be aware of some bad habits many couples engage in which have been discovered to prevent or delay pregnant. In this article I’ll like to enlighten you about certain habits that can delay pregnancy according to expert.
1. Engaging in too little or too much intercourse
Having too much sex will only cause health problems like weak knees, frequent urination and fatigue. Engaging in too little intercourse may make you miss your fertility phase. It is better to have frequent intercourse around two days to your ovulation which is your fertility window.
2. Running to the bathroom after intercourse
This is one of the natural causes not getting pregnant. When you run to clean up after intercourse, gravity beings down the sperms and they are washed off with cleaning. You should lie down for a while and allow sperm to reach egg and fertilize it
3. Wearing too tight undergarments
Some women wear very tight undergarments to bring out their shapes but this ends up harming their reproductive organ and causes vaginal infections. Men who wear too tight undergarments experience low sperm production
4. Not sleeping enough
When you don’t get quality sleep, you body’s defense is weakened and you become susceptible to infections which in turn affects your reproduction cycle as a woman. Infection in men can also cause high fever which increases body temperature and reduce sperm production
