Insecurity: Bala Mohammed calls for massive support for Nigerian Army, Police, others
Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, at a two-day round-table discussion on security in Northern Nigeria, held at the Nigerian Army Resource Center, Asokoro, Abuja, with the theme: “A Multidimensional Approach to Tackling Insecurity in Northern Nigeria,” called for massive support for the Nigerian Army, Police and other agencies engaged in fighting insecurity across the country.
The governor said that his administration has not only provided crucial support but also remained steadfast in its partnership with relevant parties to combat banditry and other forms of criminality in Bauchi State. “This ongoing effort aligns with our broader mission to deliver democratic dividends that significantly elevate the living standards of our citizens,” he added.

In my address to the attendees, I emphasized that my government has not only provided crucial support but also remains steadfast in our partnership with relevant parties to combat banditry and other forms of criminality. This ongoing effort aligns with our broader mission to deliver democratic dividends that significantly elevate the living standards of our citizens.
I stressed the importance of enhancing social cohesion, modernizing our judicial system, and fortifying law enforcement as key strategies to improve the overall security landscape in Northern Nigeria. Moreover, I urged all Nigerians to support our security personnel, including the Nigerian Army and @PoliceNG, by remaining vigilant and reporting any suspicious activities or behaviors. This collective effort is essential for safeguarding our communities and ensuring a peaceful and prosperous nation.
