A voter at the Kwakwachi primary school polling centre, who gave his name as Moses Ubah said he and his friends most of whom were voting for the first time were determined to make a difference.
He said, “Most of us will be voting for the first time today. As you can see we are here, we’ve been here since 6:30 a.m. and it’s almost 8:00 am, only police and party agents are here.”
The situation was different in Gwagwarwa Primary School where prospective voters and election officers were waiting for voting to start.
