Kenya boils, protesters demand Ruto Must Go
Kenya is on the boiling pot on Wednesday, as many protesters took to the streets of Nairobi, demanding that “Ruto Must Go”.
The protests that went underway in Kenya, chanting “Ruto Must Go”, occupied most streets in Nairobi CBD; they were adamant in telling “the President to vacate office immediately”.
The protest become violent on Wednesday when demonstrators and police clashed in Nairobi, Kenya, as citizens marked the first anniversary of the 2024 demonstration, where citizens stormed the national parliament demanding better governance—a protest that left sixty dead.
The people are angry that one year after, nothing has changed.
