Mohbad’s family appeals for information amid investigation controversy
The family of late singer Mohbad is calling on individuals with pertinent information regarding his death to come forward, as they express concern over sensitive details being publicly shared online.
In a statement released on Monday, Monisola Esther, a member of the family’s legal team, emphasized that such information should be directed to the Police rather than being disseminated on social media.
The family urges anyone with useful details to contact the legal team to assist in the investigation and ensure proper legal proceedings.

“The Aloba Family’s Legal Team advises that anyone with relevant information about the circumstances surrounding Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba’s death should reach out to us or the Police to aid in the investigation and protect witnesses and suspects,” Esther said.
“The Coroner’s Court has issued summonses for relevant witnesses, and it is crucial that information be shared in the appropriate legal channels.”
The statement follows recent allegations made by Karimot, Mohbad’s sister-in-law, in a viral social media video. Karimot accused Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, of involvement in his death and claimed to have damaging information about her.
The family’s focus remains on uncovering the truth about Mohbad’s death and addressing the circumstances that led to his untimely demise, rather than pursuing personal conflicts.
