NAC 2026 to explore future of marketing communications in era of AI, digital transformation
Nigeria’s advertising and marketing communications industry is preparing for one of its most significant annual gatherings as stakeholders across the sector converge for the 2026 National Advertising Conference (NAC), a platform designed to address emerging opportunities, challenges, and transformational trends shaping the future of the industry.
Scheduled to hold from November 11 to 13, 2026, in Abuja, the conference will be held under the theme, “Repositioning the Marketing Communications Industry for the Next Frontier,” reflecting the industry’s determination to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment driven by technological innovation, artificial intelligence, digital disruption, economic realities, and evolving consumer behavior.
The National Advertising Conference, widely regarded as Nigeria’s foremost annual gathering for advertising and marketing communications professionals, will bring together key players across the industry’s value chain, including advertisers, advertising agencies, media organizations, regulators, technology firms, brand custodians, creative professionals, and business leaders.
Organizers said the conference is expected to serve as a strategic platform for knowledge sharing, thought leadership, innovation, and collaboration as stakeholders seek practical solutions to reposition the industry for sustainable growth in an increasingly competitive and technology-driven marketplace.
The rapid adoption of artificial intelligence, growing influence of digital platforms, shifts in consumer preferences, changing media consumption patterns, and increasing demand for data-driven marketing strategies have continued to redefine how brands engage with audiences.

Expected speakers include the Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, and the Honourable Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa.
Other notable speakers include Olu Akanmu, marketing and business strategist; Idemudia Dima Okojie; Patrick Gomes; Tony Agenmonmen; and Obi Asika.
The speakers are expected to provide insights into the future of branding, media, consumer engagement, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, creative enterprise, and policy development.
Beyond the conference sessions, NAC 2026 will feature exhibition booths and interactive showcases highlighting innovation, creativity, emerging technologies, and industry solutions.
The exhibition segment will provide companies and organizations with opportunities to demonstrate products and services, engage directly with decision-makers, and build strategic partnerships within the marketing communications ecosystem.
As Nigeria’s advertising and communications industry navigates a new era defined by digital innovation and artificial intelligence, stakeholders believe NAC 2026 will play a crucial role in shaping policies, strategies, and collaborative initiatives that will determine the industry’s future direction.
The National Advertising Conference remains Nigeria’s leading annual forum for advancing excellence in advertising and marketing communications while fostering collaboration among stakeholders committed to building a stronger and globally competitive industry.
