Oyo federal lawmaker pays hospital bill of kidnap victim in Ekiti

A member of the House of Representatives, representing Oluyole constituency in Oyo State, on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, voluntarily paid the hospital bill for the treatment of a kidnap victim in Ekiti State.

Akande-Sadipe, in a statement in Ibadan on Sunday by her Media Aide, Olamilekan Olusada, said that her intervention was a respond to a message she received from the family of the over the injuries the kidnapped victim sustained in the hands of the ritualists that took her captive before she regained freedom.

Akande-Sadipe, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Diaspora Affairs, said that the victim’s  family contacted her requesting support for urgent medical treatment for the life-threatening injuries.

The lawmaker called on security agencies to find a lasting solution to insecurity in the country and appealed to Nigerians to dwell in peace and love.
